Jersey City Ranked the Most Diverse City in the Country According to WalletHub!

Jersey City has reclaimed their title as the most diverse city in the country, according to the annual WalletHub diversity ranking. This distinction was held in 2017 and 2018, but Jersey City dropped to second place in 2019. With a strong return in 2020 to the top, Jersey City has proved to be the most diverse among 501 of the largest cities in the country.

WalletHub ranking take ethnoracial diversity, linguistic diversity and birthplace diversity into account when developing the rankings. Gaithersburg, Maryland and Germantown, Maryland took second and third place for 2020.
